What Mood collects
Mood collects the account, profile, friend, mood, location, avatar, invite, notification, report, and block data needed to run the app. This may include your email address, phone number, user ID, APNs device token, display name, profile photo, home location, mood text, mood time, selected place, coordinates, friend relationships, invite links, reports, and block actions.
How the data is used
We use this data for app functionality: signing you in, sending SMS verification codes when phone login is enabled, showing visible moods to the right friends or friends of friends, letting people join moods, helping you invite friends, matching contacts you choose to share, delivering push notifications you enable, keeping blocked users separated, responding to reports, and deleting your account when requested.
Guest Mood invites
If you join a specific Mood from a web invite without an account, we store the first name you enter, a random browser-scoped identifier, the Mood and invite you joined, and the time you joined. Your first name is visible to that Mood’s organizer and registered attendees, but not to people who can only discover the Mood.
The browser identifier is used only to make repeat taps from the same browser update the same RSVP. If you later create or sign in to a Mood account using your private claim link, the guest RSVP is replaced by your account RSVP. Guest RSVP data is deleted when the Mood is deleted and may also be deleted after the invite or Mood is no longer needed.
Service providers
Mood uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, realtime updates, and server functions. If phone login is enabled, Mood uses the configured SMS provider through Supabase Auth. Mood does not sell personal data and does not use cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers.
Location and photos
Location is used only to place a mood on the map or search and select a place. Photo library access is used only when you choose a profile picture.
Deletion and choices
You can delete your account in the Mood iOS app from Profile. Account deletion removes your account record and associated profile, avatar, moods, joins, friend graph, invite links, reports you submitted, and block data unless retention is legally required.
